If you’ve ever traveled to Greece, you’ve probably found yourself in a little local tavern and heard a very unique-sounding string instrument. Most traditionally, and more often than not, you’ve heard the bouzouki, in the lute family, which looks like an ancient guitar and has a sound like a metallic mandolin, but lower pitched.
We’ve brought Greece to you, right here in Los Angeles. Petros our bouzouki player strikes traditional and ancient cords Thursday through Sunday in our dining room. Enjoy!
Ask him to play your favorite island melody.
